Our Ministries
Christian Education Ministry
Christian Education is the ministry that under girds all ministries of the church. We provide, develop and promote programs that equip individuals for discipleship. Included in this ministry is Sunday School, Bible Study, Vacation Bible School and Prayer Vigil. We believe that Biblical teaching and learning are the essential elements of the Christian Education Ministry. We connect people to Christ through active participation in Christian Education programs, by providing the tools and skills needed to grow spiritually.
United Methodist Women
All women are welcome to join us, The United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ: to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
United Methodist Men
All men are welcome to join us, “We are Helping Men Grow in Christ, So Others May Know Christ”. We are Inviting and Encouraging Men to be Engaged in Service and Fellowship with the Purpose of Developing Disciples of Jesus Christ!
Family Ministries
Our Family Ministry supports an inviting culture that includes Children, Youth, Young Adults and Seniors. There’s something for everyone in this ministry that works to serve the entire community of believers. We strive to make it fun, educational and spiritual.
Missions
The Transportation, Birthmonth and Food Ministry all fall under the Mission umbrella. Our ultimate goal is to assist others in a tangible way. We strive to reach beyond the walls of CAM UMC and into the community to make a difference in the lives of God’s people.
A Peace-full Reign Dance Ministry
Focusing on the community at large and its need for supervised/structured activities for our youth, through the Cultural Art of dance. Various technics and styles of dance are taught. Improv and choreography are encouraged.
